Hello, I didn't know Paul, but I've learned a bit about him today online. It sounds like he was a great guy. I looked him up because I found something of his today. It was his old US army issued cook set. It's just a stainless steel pan with a fold out handle, and a lid that doubles as a plate. I thought it was neat, and saw that it was from the 60s. It wasn't until I got home that I looked at it more closely an saw his name roughly engraved into it. It didn't cost me much, but I intend to use it whenever I go camping, and when I do I'll think of Paul. I'm sorry for your loss. I hope his memory makes you smile like it does for me.

To All Dear Ones,

I am so sorry for the loss of our husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, nephew, and friend, Paul Skinner. I hope this finds everyone doing as well as to be expected. We are suffering the loss of a great man that served in the armed forces during war time and lived the American Dream. Everyone should be proud and honor a man who fought for our freedom. Who fathered a son that also fought for our freedom and the safety of our wonderful country. A quiet, hard working and loving man. He was very fortunate to have a loving wife, Judy, that cared for him, loved to have fun, laugh, and smile with him. A fabulous and caring daughter that stood by his side. Many others that loved and cared for him. While I write this I think of many fond memories of bowling alleys, uno games, the farm, dirt bikes, little red Corvette, Kelly's Island, Knickerbocker (the home of the BLOB), Impala, Kenny Rogers, breakfast and shopping the day after Thanksgiving, but most of all those gorgeous blue eyes.
