Dear Don and other members of Nancy's family. I was about to wish Nancy a happy birthday today on Facebook, when I saw that another friend had written a birthday greeting that conveyed that Nancy had passed away. I'm sorry to be so long in sending my sincere condolences, as I wasn't aware that Nancy died in March of last year. Nancy and I grew up together at Church of the Redeemer, and your parents and mine were good friends. I was very fond of Nancy and am sorry we lost touch through the years. We did reconnect on Facebook and I was glad to see photos of her surrounded by her large group of loving nieces and nephews. Nancy was a warm, kind, fun-loving, ethical person whom I held in high regard. I'm sure she is missed by everyone in her family and circle of friends. Sending you peace on Nancy's birthday.

Nancy and I were friends and neighbors from early childhood. We had such great times growing up and her mom was a second mom to all of us. I can still remember our bike parades through the neighborhood with our decorated bikes and all the fun birthday parties. We lost touch for a while, but reconnected when I moved to Lyndhurst. Sure enjoyed her clam bakes! She endured her challenges to her best ability and I never heard her complain. Nancy loved when her family members could visit with her, especially the younger family members. Georgia and Don helped make Nancy's last few years as comfortable as possible.

I will miss my cuz alot. Being 3 months younger than me, we have spent many years making family memories together. From vacations at Linwood Park to meals out and everything in between. She fought a tough battle with MS and her stubborn streak prevailed most of the time and got her through many tough times over the past years!! I am sad for our whole family and blessed that Don and Georgia were able to manage her care and help make the best decisions for it over the years and be close enough to visit her. I will always smile when I see an elephant and think of her!
