Our friendship with Bud and Marian and their lovely family began shortly after we moved to North Ridgeville in 1963. They warmly welcomed us as neighbors and became lifetime friends. She was a wonderful lady in so many ways. In earlier years, when she handled the credit union, a visit to her home for business, was more a pleasant chat with an inspiring, gracious, and very competent friend. Her sharp wit and marvelous memory made for great conversations even up to her passing. Marian will be so missed by all who knew her. To her wonderful family, who have grown very dear to us, we send our love and sympathy.

Mrs. Taylor was the first St. Peters Mom that I came to know, and I always felt so welcome and nurtured when I visited Mary Ann. I have many wonderful memories playing at her house, sitting at the kitchen table and playing in the back yard. Those were wonderful times. Mrs. Taylor was a kind soul..the world was a better place because of her. My heart goes out to the family.

Our family was Marian’s next door neighbor for 31 years. In that span of time, we became good friends. Better than that, Marian made us feel like extended family. She was a great role model-she was very kind and generous with her time and talents. She was welcoming and often tolerant, I’m sure, of the young children who lived next door that were often on her doorstep or following her up and down the garden rows, and even running through and around the clean sheets waving on the clothesline.
It was easy for us to see the love and admiration her children had for her, and how much she enjoyed all the gatherings throughout the years-get togethers that grew over time with new generations joining the family. Witnessing the love and respect they enjoyed made a lasting impression on all of us.
We, along with our children who grew into adulthood in those 31 years, were blessed to have known her. We extend our love and sympathy to her family; we know she has earned the jewels for her crown in Heaven.
