I will always remember "Grandpa Joe" because although he was not my real grandpa, I kind of adopted him as a grandpa when one of my real ones passed, and I think he loved that. He would always smile and give me nice big hugs when I saw him at church and he always told me to make sure I behaved myself =)
I really wish I could have attended the wake and funeral, but unfortunately due to busy class and activity schedules I could not. Best wishes to everyone!
Uncle Joe taught me many things that I'll cherish forever. The love & honor he bestowed upon his wife and family were loving examples of what I wanted for my own. He & Aunt Marge were often my port of shelter in the storm. My prayers go out to the family that accepted me as one of their own. XOXO, Sidney Ann Koepp
To many of us, Papa Joe was a friend, an inspiration and a hero. We mourn his passing, but celebrate his life, and are certain of his new life with Christ. To be able to call a man such as Joe your friend is truly a blessing. Our hearts and prayers are with Marge and all the family.
Dear Marge: I have many happy memoties of You and Joe.As you know , I now live in Wisconsin near my son and family.It would have been an honor to serve the funeral Mass for Joe.
