To the Bourne Family,
Please accept our sincere condolences on the passing of Jim. He and I were friends and classmates in the 4th grade at St. Peter's and also all four years of high school at EDCHS in Elyria. He had great musical talent, my friends and I enjoyed hearing him play with his band in Cleveland in the early 60s. It's a comfort to know that he has a loving and caring family.
May God Bless all of you,
Dr. & Mrs. William Hurlbut

Dear Aunt Shirley, My heart goes out to you and I feel so bad that you are suffering so much after losing my Uncle Jim. I remember him from the time Diane and I were little girls and he still lived at home. He was so much fun, used to play hide and seek with us. He'd play the Banjo or whatever his current musical instrument was. He also started to teach Diane and I how to play the Piano etc.,etc. He was always kind, patient and always a smile for you. He was quietly supportive during hard times and never judgemental, only concerned. Tim's right, he was the best Uncle I ever had too. I know he's smiling in Heaven with Our Lord and in no more pain. God Bless you Shirley for being such a good wife to him, he was happy with you. Love, your niece, Donna
I would like to send my sincerest condolences in the loss of Jim from all your lives. I worked with Jim for many years and he almost always had a smile on his face. His easy going demeanor made him a pleasure to work with. He would often ask how things were going in your life even when he was suffering in his own. Jim was greatly missed from our work family when he was out due to his illness and even more so when he left here to retire in June 2008. I hope and pray that Jim is now at peace and that God will give you comfort in this difficult time.
Aunt Shirley,
Our hearts ache for you over our loss of Uncle Jim. Time flies by so quickly. I have so many memories I will treasure with Uncle Jim. He was the best Uncle I had growing up.
Love,
Tim & Cheryl

Dear Bourne Family,
I am so sorry for your loss i can't even begin to know what you are going through at this time. one of the things that I have found to be a great source of comfort is the thoughts expressed in the Bible at John 5:28,29 where we see that God is going to bring our loved ones back to life. At Revelation 21:4 we see that God is going to eliminate all of the causes for why we get sick grow old and die. Also at Psalm 37:10,29 we see that all those who are good in Gods eyes are going to have the wonderfull hope of living forever here on a paradise earth surrounded by other happy healthy people. it is my sincere hope that these thoughts bring your family comfort at this time. once again i am so sorry for your loss.
