Sincere condolences to all of Jack's family. I met Jack over 30 years ago as a college student spending my summers working at Pleasant Valley Country Club. Jack was a regular there. We struck up a conversation one of the first times I met him in regards to my career plans, as I was an Engineering student at the time. He and I had many conversations regarding Ford Motor Company and his career at Ford. Needless to say, Jack became a mentor and a very good friend, as when I graduated from college with my Engineering degree, he helped me get into Ford. During my rotations within the company, I was fortunate to be able to work for Jack for a time. He was a great man to work for and a wonderful mentor. Needless to say, I will be celebrating my 30th anniversary with Ford this June. Every year since he retired, Jack and I kept in touch at a minimum through letters at Christmas time. I always looked forward to his letters and keeping in touch with how he was doing. I know his family meant the world to him. I am so sorry for your family's loss. I too will miss him as he held a special place in my heart over the years.
