MY SINCERE SYMPATHIES GO OUT TO ALL THE FAMILY AT THIS SAD TIME. IT IS ALWAYS HARD TO LOSE A LOVED ONE. PRAYERS GO OUT TO ALL. CUZ, JANE
I have only known Jerry for about 3 years, but he sure lit up the office when he came in to let us know he was off to the cottage. He always parked in our lot where I work at Wahta Springs, near his Cottage in Muskoka. I have always enjoyed the conversations we had even if was just a quick hello. I am going to miss his little visits and his stories of their little adventers at the cottage. My deepest sympathy to his family. Jerry by now your 4 days travel to the spirit world has ended and I hope it was the best & most beautiful journey you ever had. You will not be forgotten.
Jerry's spirit of warmth and caring will always remain. Having only known him for the past 3 years, he truly has left many memories of great discusions and laughter. His generous gifts of Grits, Starbucks,Cherries,Laundry Soap, Beer! and his friendly smile will never be forgoten. May he rest in peace, and may his family find comfort in celebration of his life here on earth.
To Dick and Jerry's family, my sympathy to the passing of a great guy. The coffee was always on, and a drink available, when you stopped
and had a visit on Sandy Gray with Jerry. The Hunt Camp had shared great times with Jerry and that will be deeply missed. Good journey my friend!
Gerry was a friend since I first met him in 1969 and he has always been in our life since, lots of fishing trips and quiet contemplations of life sitting in solitude on Sandy gray lake. We will miss his interpretations of politics and other world opinions. He was a solid 1st class man. We will miss his visits. Lots of memories.
Dear Linda, Richard, and family,
Chuck and I were very sad and shocked to learn of Jerry's death. He's been a long-time friend of Chuck, Navy and high school buddies, fishing and hunting, and just spending time together, and a good friend of mine. He frequently stopped to visit us and we will miss him-one of the "good guys". Our thughts are with you through this difficult time.

Grief is a quiet thing. I will grieve the loss of a truly honorable individual.
There is nothing to be done, only accept it and hurt.
I will miss you forever, my friend.
Deepest sympathy to Linda and family.
While I have only had the privilege of knowing Gerry for about 5 years, he made me feel like I had known him forever. A great person.
I will truly miss his visits to see us in Texas, and his occasional phone calls just to see how we were and to tell us a new joke
Dick, Betty & Linda
Our thoughts & prayers are with you all at this time. We will miss Gerry so very much - the laughter, the talks, the advise, the "American" vs the "Canadian" fun, the stories, the fishing, the cocktails & all the special times we shared at our cabins on Sandy Grey as well as at our home. We cannot find the words to express our deep sense of loss. A good & true friend we had the privilege of having in Gerry & he will always be remembered in our hearts. May God be with you all during this very difficult time and may Gerry rest in eternal peace in God's kingdom.
I feel very blest to have had my dear friend Jerry in my life. Breaking bread (as he would say), dinners with our mutual friends, quiet walks and long talks sharing our lifes histories, accomplishments and dreams are now treasured memories. His sincere compassion for others, helping hands and shoulder to cry on were his honorable characteristics. a TRUE GENTLE MAN _ respected and loved by all. I will sincerely miss him. Linda, I am here for you, God Bless you. Ruth Frolo Platek b iJerryyobe
