Being in George's presence was like a breath of fresh air. The conservations were always enlightening and positive. He spoke sincerely and with words of encouragement. Was always easy to engage in topics of mutual interest. Never seemed judgmental. Georgie, Doreen, Timmy & Dawn -your father was a great man. An inspiration to many. And Aunt Kathleen - 59 years of blissful marriage - that's something you can boast about.

My dearest friend Doreen and family, your parents were so sincerely nice to me when we were teens and it was just so easy to call them Mom and Dad when I was with you. Several of the family camping trips were my privilege to attend as well and I was always so amazed at how such a large group could run so smoothly. So many good memories with you all. RIP George "Dad" Ropchock.
