I worked for many years as an usher with Gene at The Strongsville United Methodist Church. He was a great friend, a kind and considerate, caring human being. He always smiled and had a pleasant greeting for everyone. God Bless him and his family. I will miss him deeply.
I'll always remember Gene as my best friend's older brother. He didn't bother with us much which was good. It's always sad to lose a family member. My condolances go out to all in the family especially Joann. My prayers are for inner peace.

Gene was a wonderful man and a kind soul.
When I met him he had acted like he knew me a life-time.
He would always lend a helping hand when needed and was a great man to know.
A special thanks to Rev. Mowry and all those that contributed to make the funeral services most memorable. Our family will fondly remember the condolences and sympathies received by those in attendance as well as those who conveyed their expressions through phone calls and mail. He will be missed.

Gene was a great friend of many years. Not only did we share a passion for dog shows, but also Shiba Inus. His smiling face at the Shiba ring and his love for dogs and dog shows will greatly missed!
