Dear Mrs. Ruder~
Please accept my sincere sympathies and prayers to you and your family. And I am sorry that I was unable to attend last night's visitation at the funeral home. I fondly remember Mr. Ruder and his gentle smile and friendly persistence during our 100th Anniversary Open House here at Lear Romec. He was excitedly sharing the news about his latest invention! What an inspiration he was! And there you were, standing beside him proudly with your beautiful smile! May all of the wonderful memories that you, your family and your friends have stored within your hearts help sustain you through this difficult time. May Mr. Ruder rest in peace.

Fred & Family,
Pat and I both endure your pain as you mourn the loss of your father. He was a great man and we liked him a lot. He was always trying to help people in any way he could. I enjoyed talking with him on the phone and in person. He always had the other person in thought. He was truly an innovative person. I remember the talks we had when we were building the Elyria Veterans Memorial. He always came up with clever ideas and with his help we made it happen.
He will be missed by family and friends.
I know the people he touched during his lifetime will never forget him. He was that kind of person. A true American in every way with kindness in his heart.
If Pat and I can ever do anything we are only a phone call away.

Our prayers are with you all, the Ruder family, during this time of loss. Mr. Ruder (as I will always remember him) was "the best neighbor" I have ever known, dating back to my childhood days growing up in Columbia Station. Mr. Ruder was such a "kind" person! My the Lord comfort all of you during this difficult time!
