To the children and grandchildren of Mrs. McKee,
I was sorry to recently hear of Mrs. McKee's illness and today of her passing. I know that she was very loving, involved, active and an influential presence in your lives.
I appreciated that Mrs. McKee was kind to my children and welcomed them into her home as if they were her own grandchildren. My daughters got a kick out of her various crafts that she had shown them. They were impressed at how talented and artistic she was.
I wish you did not have to suffer her loss and I think what a wonderful gift that Mrs. Mckee left a legacy that lives on through you, for future generations.
Our prayer is that Mrs. McKee's loved ones will be comforted in your time of grief and be reminded of the hope to see her again!
"We can cry with hope
We can say goodbye with hope
'Cause we know our goodbye is not the end, oh no
And we can grieve with hope
'Cause we believe with hope
(There's a place by God's grace)
There's a place where we'll see your face again
We'll see your face again" ~With Hope, Steven Curtis Chapman
