Justin and Chrissy, you are in my thoughts and prayers.
My condolences to Joe & family. I met Dottie several years back at the VFW. I'll never forget her little wink & gleam in her eyes when she talked. Dottie went through a lot & wasn't at the VFW for a long time during treatment, but when she came back, she looked great. No one would even have guessed she was sick. I will miss the talks we had & that wink that always made me smile. I'm glad I had the pleasure of knowing you. God speed my friend. I know you'll be watching over us from heaven, making sure we behave ourselves. I love you Miss Dottie.....your friend, Kathy
A Memorial Service for Dottie Zett will be held on August 3, 2014 from 2PM-? at the North Ridgeville VFW Post (6805 Lear Nagle Rd, N. Ridgeville, Ohio 44039)
The first time I met Dottie was when her husband Joe told me at the VFW on karaoke night that his wife made pirogies and that they were the best so I definitely wanted to try them so I went over to their house and met one of the nicest women ever. Not only did she make great pirogies but she was sweet and her smile lit up the room. Then we became friends on facebook and she started coming up to the VFW again and she could make me laugh! She had a great sense of humor and she tried to come out as often as she could when she felt well enough. I'm definitely going to miss her smile and sense of humor the most. RIP my friend and may the angels enjoy what we will all miss. Love ya, girl!!!
A Tribute to my Dear Friend Dottie.
I knew you as a neighbor giving each other the "Hi-Sign".
It all happened Easter Day, April 20, 2003 upon the death of my dearly Beloved husband, John. A knock at my door and there appeared a Beautiful person with a Beautiful smile, stating "Here I am Rose". I'm here to help and comfort you. Since then, you and I became the long time best neighbor and a friend. I remember the many phone calls regarding the severe rain and snow storms, where you called, checking in.
Yes, indeed Dottie, you stretched out your arms and opened your door like Jesus did for all of us.
I also remembered a phone call saying "How's my Rose Bud?" I loved it. You will always be remembered in my thoughts and prayers.
Until we meet in Heaven and I go through the open door and join you, I will say "Here I am Dottie, This is Rosebud, your Rose from North Ridgeville.
Thank you again for the friendship and being a precious friend. I miss you.
Love,
Rose Bud

Condolences to the Zett and Skrot families from her cousin John (Fatsy) Mollick and wife, Judy.
It will be the little things that you remember, the quiet moments, the smiles, the laughter. Although it may seem hard right now, it will be the memories of little things that help to push away the pain and bring the smiles back again. May you find strength in the love of family and the warm embrace of friends. Love always, Debra Scaturro
