I am still reeling from the news of Debbie's passing. She was so vibrant, so full of life. I valued her friendship here at Morningside and will carry many positive memories of her. I send my deepest, most heartfelt condolences to her beautiful family.
Denny and I are very sorry to hear this news. Condolences to Eric and the entire family. Such a fitting and beautiful obituary summing how much Deb brought to so many. Deb and Eric hosted us for get togethers many times when the girls were little including competitive four square in the driveway! Prayers and hugs.
We are so saddened to hear about Debbie and are thinking of the entire Chokan family. I will always remember her for her positive energy and the special gift she had for making everyone feel welcome. Whether it was learning a new card game or enjoying her famous beer cheese dip, she always made sure we were in for a good time. The speed at which she could unpack and organize a dorm room was pure magic, a talent that still impresses me to this day. She was an incredible person inside and out who cherished her family and friends. She will be deeply missed. We are sending you all our strength and love.
