Dear Family: I was very distressed to hear of your loss. From what I have read of him, he was a kind and generous man with his time and energy even though he was no well himself. Losing him was no doubt a great loss to the family as well as the community. You have my deepest sympathy. I also wanted to take this time to give you a hope for your loved ones future by sharing some scriptures with your family. Jesus said at John 11:25,"I am the resurrection and the life. He who exercises faith in me even though he dies will be brought to life." Being a deacon of his church he no doubt had faith in Jesus but a resurrection to what you may ask? Psalms 37:11 states, "the meek shall possess the earth and they will find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace." So, an earthly resurrection but when the earth is cleansed with perfect conditions like in the Garden of Eden. Until this time, may these words comfort you and may the love of your family and friends comfort you in this hour of need. May God continue to watch over your family during this difficult time.
