I was Brian & Cathys babysitter in the late 70s.
My sincere condolences go out to his family and friends. Brian was a former neighbor of mine. He was always in a good mood...always smiling and laughing. Sometimes he would accept a ride home when he was walking, while other times he just enjoyed the walk. He was truly a joy to live by, and he will certainly be missed.
Nancy & Cathy I want to say how sorry I am for your loss but it's not just your loss but the world's loss because Brian touched the hearts of everyone who knew him. I knew Cathy in school and she and Brian lived on the next street. I hung around Brian often. Always happy and fun. My best memory of him is him and his treasured BMX! He use to tell me all the time....I'll never drive a car...to many crazy people out there and that is why I lover my bike! Cathy, if Curtis and I didn't live in Arizona now I would be there to say goodbye! Sending prayers and hugs to you and your family....

I'm not much of a writer especially when it comes to a passing of a loved one. Brian was truly loved by every. He always knew how to make people laugh and warm peoples hearts. Although I didn't have the opportunity to see him as much as some but the memories I have of the time I have spent with Brian will stay with me forever.
Family Memory: We were little, I was still living in Cleveland. In the basement of the same house Brain was living was a pool table. Us kids, Cathy included were all playing, something happened... Brian decided to start throwing pool balls at everyone. Kids running for cover and trying to hide. Not only did Brian keep us laughing he kept us in shape dodging pool balls.
