Dearest Tom and Sharon, Amy and Mike,
I am so sorry for your loss and that I could not be there in person to share your sorrow. Aunt Betty was so special, as was Uncle Don and I shall miss them. All of my family here in Sugarcreek and Dover send our heartfelt condolences and prayers knowing God will give you all the strength you need to get through this really tough time.
Tom, I especially want you to know that in church this morning, Mom said we read some from the Bible that was part of Aunt Betty's service. I had a vision about that time about your mom and dad together and most happy and about to embark on a marvelous bike ride together! It was such a blessed vision that I had to pass it on to you!
Keep this thought and the many wonderful memories of the terrific life you had with the awesome parents bestowed upon you by the Father of us all, and I know you'll get through it all right. May God's blessings continue to enrich your lives now and forever, your cousin, Carol.

Dear Tom:

I was saddened to read of your mother's passing and know what a void that will leave in your life. She was an extremely warm and kind woman with a great gift for hospitality! I count it a privilege that I was acquainted with her--even for such a brief period during my senior year in high school. Please know that I have thought of your parents often and with great affection as they made me feel very special and welcomed into their home and their lives.

I will be praying that your memories will sustain you through the years to come.
