Structured Support Groups

Topics related to grief are explored each week and opportunities are provided for participants to explore their healing process. Most of Cornerstone's support groups are offered at no cost. There is a $10/session fee for the Transcending Grief Series.To register for one of these groups, please call 216.524.4673. View our Support Group Offerings. A new round of groups will begin the week of January 10, 2020. To enroll in this session, you must call at least two weeks prior and have a mandatory intake meeting completed. A new round of groups will begin the week of June 14, 2021. To enroll in this session, you must call at least two weeks prior and have a mandatory intake meeting completed. This group is for adults who are grieving the loss of a loved one. Depending on the size of the group, groups may break down further into Loss of a Spouse, Loss of a Child, Loss of a Parent, and All Grief Losses.

Open to all, regardless of ethnic, cultural and faith backgrounds. Led by professionally trained and experienced facilitators. A choice of either Wednesday or Friday sessions are offered for your schedule. Session is ten weeks in length and each meeting is 2 hours. Provided at no charge to you, and includes a light dinner (Wednesday) or a light snack (Friday).
