OMG...I'm in shock. I have been trying to find Steve for over years, since I last knew he was playing at the Beach Harbor, and I found out he had moved or gone to Ohio to play country music there for a while. I periodically looked him up on FB, and finally found a few videos of him on Youtube...but I never scrolled down to read what it said...that he had passed! What happened? Was he sick? My parents and I spent many nights at the Beach Harbor with him, having a blast, sadly my father passed Jan 8th of 2017 as well, and I wanted to get ahold of Steve and catch up. So many good memories. I'm so very sorry to hear this. These are just a few pictures throughout the years at the Beach Harbor...I believe it was 1993-2000

I went to Oakwood Elementary School with Steve. He brought his guitar into class one day and played....6th grade I believe it was. We were in awe. Looking back at class group photos, I often wondered what happened to Steve and a few others over the years. Now I know. I have bookmarked his web site ~ what an exciting life he had and what a talent. Gone too soon. My condolences for your loss.

Steve has been part of my "family" since I was about 14 years old... Then in 1982 he lost his dad, and we lost our mom. His mom and my dad sought comfort in eachother following losing their loved ones. The rest is history. Steve has been my step brother for 32 years.... Recently, he is remembered as a hard worker, and companion for our aging parents. It was such a God send when he returned to Ohio and assumed that role... It was reassuring knowing he was there for them. I am thankful that he returned to Ohio, and that we have recent memories. I have no doubt he knew we all loved him. Rest in peace, brother!
