My sincere condolences to your family. I was at a loss for words when I heard what happened. I haven’t seen Rich in so long but I remember him vividly. He was an awesome dad to both Rachel and Garret and I know he will be missed. I remember his sense of humor and how laid back he was. He was a great guy!! RIP.

The Butcher Family -

I wish I had words to express how truly sorry and heartbroken I am. Rich was a constant in mine and many other childhoods and it is now unimaginable to think that part of that is now gone. While my time with Rich over the last too many years has been limited, we all constantly think back to our youth and when I do that Rich is there and always will be. Seems too painful now, but there will be a time in the future when we can remember all the good things about Rich and when that time comes there will be many. One word to describe Rich for me....laughter. He made us laugh...maybe telling his stories, maybe screwing around in the garage or in the basement, maybe ...well, things Mr. and Mrs. B can't yet know, or maybe busting on each other (mostly Donn)…. I just don't remember times being around Rich and not laughing! I suspect to all the people that knew him later in life that did not change. I will miss my friend. Mark Chambers
