We have so many connections with the Armbruster family, starting with acting as substitute parents for Russell and Will when Jeff and Lee were consumed by their business demands. So many good times together! They got us to move to Ridgefield in North Ridgeville when Jeff was mayor. Our son Thomas worked for a while for Jeff at Pinzone-Armbruster and learned lot about the retail industry where he is now making a career.
With all these connections, Jeff and I got to become good friends, a friendship that deepened with time and helped us to meet health challenges by means of mutual support and counsel. Jeff passed on, "in the saddle" which is so symptomatic for his attitude, never giving up, on life, on love, and on duty. He was a remarkable entrepreneurial spirit and as a public servant relentlessly devoted to the service of his constituents. I am missing him dearly and it pains me to think how much of a loss, Lee, Heather, Jason, Ben, Russell and Will and the grandkids now have to endure. Rest in Peace, Jeff, knowing that you made your life meaningful for so many people and in so many respects.
