Dom, you will be forever missed. I had the privilege of going to high school with Dom and becoming his friend. We both ended up choosing Kent State, and by chance, we were placed in the same dorm building our freshman year. Leaving North Ridgeville, the only place we had both ever called home, and moving away for the first time was such a scary experience for both of us. When we got to school, Dom made it a point to go out of his way to make sure we were both adjusting well during orientation week, and we navigated all of the new campus activities together. He made that transition into a new place, where neither of us really knew anyone, so much easier, and I will always be grateful for his kindness and friendship. Throughout the last four years, we stayed in touch, and we were even in a class together this past semester. I will forever miss seeing you around campus and in class. It truly was an honor to know you. 🩷
