David W. Verderber, age 39, of Lagrange, died suddenly on Friday, April 29, 2005 at his home. He was born in Parma and had lived in Lagrange the past five years, moving from Elyria. He had previously lived in North Ridgeville. Mr. Read Obituary

There will never be words to express how sorry I am about the loss of David. We have lost a gentle, kind, and generous man with David's death. Our world will never be as good without him. We were David's friend and we loved him. He cherished his beloved Sarah and his family. David's life will be defined by the love he showed us and the manner in which he lived his life. He was a magnificent human being.

To my dear family Aunty Julie, Uncle Bill, Matt (& family)and Danny (& family)...
Although I haven't seen David for a year or so I am very fortunate for all the great times we spent together. I know I have had a very special person pass through my life and for that I am so very grateful. David was an amazing, kind, caring, lucky man and I will miss him so much. I have so many fond memories of my times with him! I will always remember the many times he's visited us in England, my trip to visit you a few years ago when I spent a lot of time with David & the family and most recently the day when he, Carol and Sarah met us for a day in Disney World for Alice's birthday! He will be missed a great deal and I hope that as Sarah grows up she will remember her daddy and how much of a special man he was. I will do my very best to help her remember my special uncle and the amazing things he did to help others. My thoughts are with you at this hard time and I want you to know that I love you all very much even though I haven't seen you all for a long time. Dear Verderber family, while I am dismayed to hear of Dave?s passing I know that Dave walked with God. In everything he did, it showed. Dave was a wonderful guy that had a high level of integrity and honesty.
While I hope that most of Dave?s family knew him much better than I did I wanted to let Sarah know that her dad was one of those people you truly wanted to have as a friend and it was a true blessing to have known him. I know she might not totally understand that now but growing up I hope the news is constantly relayed about the celebration of Dave?s life and how he blessed others. Dave mentored me as a leader and a co-worker for a few years and I saw many great things come from him in his actions and his words. It seemed often that our conversations always involved Sarah and how she was developing and it showed very evident of how proud he was of her.
For the rest of Dave?s family and Carol I will tell you it truly was a blessing to know him and I pray that God comforts each of you through this confusing time to bring you peace knowing he is now with God in a much better place just as God planned it.

sorry to hear about Dave's passing, he will be sadly missed. i first met dave at a search retreat. attended carol's and his wedding and belonged to frank s harmon lodge with him. we will keep the whole family in our prayers
Dear Carol, Sarah and Verderber family. We would like to extend our sorrow for your loss. I worked with Dave at Norstan Communications for many years. We shared a friendship during those years and kept in touch after he took another postion. I knew Dave enjoyed his life especially after his victory with cancer. He was so joyful when the news of Sarah was to be born. We are happy to have known him and shared our friendship. We will miss him and will remember the giving person he was. Our prayers go out to the entire family.
