Janice P. Kovach (nee Lacerna) age 45, of Elyria passed away peacefully Monday January 24, 2022 at home surrounded by her family. She was born in Elyria where she had lived for most of her life. Janice operated TLC Babysitting Service with her sister for several years and later became a certified EMT and worked for Lifecare Ambulance Service. She was a lover of music, playing the piano and attending musicals, she also was an avid reader, especially enjoying history books. Survivors include her husband of 25 years, Kenneth, three children, Briahna Kovach of Cleveland, Brandon and Connor, both at home, her parents, Dr. Rogener and Gail Lacerna of Elyria, sisters Nikki (Dr. Rollie) Rogers of Milan, Angela (Richard) Holland of Liberty Township, brother Chris Hoffman of North Olmsted, father-in-law Richard, mother-in-law Margaret Stasik Kovach of North Ridgeville, mother-in-law Barbara Gnatek of Westlake, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephew and cousins. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2-5 PM where services will be held 9 AM Monday at Bogner Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services 36625 Center Ridge Road North Ridgeville. Reverend Bob Franco will officiate. Masks are required. Services will be livestreamed on the Bogner Family Funeral Home Facebook page.
