I'm so sorry to hear of Clem's passing. I talked to him earlier this year by phone while he was at the business. Clem was always a good man and boss to me. He helped me out many times. Sometimes we had our differences but by the end of the day he'd hand me some money to go across the street and get some beer and everything was good again between he and I. I always respected him and he treated me like I was family. The last time I saw him and Birdie was at my Dad's funeral. We ate together and had a good talk. That was 5 years ago and I was so appreciative that they were there. I have so many memories of being part of Automotive Equipment Company, I think the first time I worked there I was maybe 12 years old. I remember walking into his office to ask him a question and he'd say "Jimmy can't you see I have a phone in each fricken ear". Like all of you I will miss his presence. I'd like to extend my deepest sympathy to his family. I am so sorry that I can't be there for the service, but I have Clem and his family in my prayers.
