I'm happy to say that I had the honor of knowing Alan for the past several years through his job at the workshop. His love of music and his contagious laughter will stay with me forever. Please know that his co-workers and friends loved him dearly and we will all cherish our memories of him. Our prayers are with you all.

My deepest sympathy on the passing of Alan. He will be very much missed at the 10:30am Mass here at Sacred Heart. When Alan was present it felt as if all was right with the world. May he celebrate his new life in Christ's heavenly kingdom, and may you find comfort in this time of grief.

I have known Alan since 1980 when I began working at SEI. Alan and I spent many hours sitting at the piano and I was in awe of his gift of music and recall and his perfect pitch. He had a great interest in sounds, too. I thoroughly enjoyed working with Alan whether it was work training, habilitation training, an outing or simply a meeting. He was the BEST!
Please know that you all have my sincere sympathy and you will be kept in my thoughts and prayers. I will never forget Alan!

I extend my heartfelt sympathy to the family of Alan. I first met Alan when I worked at Starlight in the 80's & was lucky enough to meet him again when I came to work at Horizons.
Alan was such a joyful person, our most recent contact was our trip to the Carousel Dinner Theater where we had a great time together with all his friends from Horizons.
He will be missed greatly by his home companions and all of us here at Horizons that had any contact with him.
