To the family of Vince, I'd like to express my deepest sympathy on his passing and to acknowledge that although I didn't know Vince well, I heard only wonderful things about him from his in-laws and that he was someone Special and will be missed by many. It was such a pleasure knowing and working with Vince. He had the best smile ever. I was able to spend some time with him and Helena on their last trip to Florida just before the newest grandbaby was born and will cherish that visit forever. Vince was "the man", not only in my eyes but a lot of us. He was always there in so many ways. A leader, a kind, compassionate human being and all the things a husband, brother, father, grandfather, uncle and friend could emeplify. When I was a young boy and Vince was a teenager, the Cravotta's would make a trip from York, Pa. to visit the Gandolfi's in Rocky River, Ohio. In my recollection this happened frequently and it was such a great adventure. I looked up to Vince. I remember my impression of Vince then as a strong guy, great athlete, and very kind, always ready to show me how to throw a football or play basketball.
In spite of our absence of seeing each other over the years we did get together in the past few years. I am so pleased and happy that this did occur.
Vince will always be in my memories and I spiritually believe that he is once again with his family forever in peace.
In this time of bereavement God bless Halena and their children.

We knew Vince since our college days and continued our friendship with a close-knit group of couples formed during our teaching days together. The times shared, parties, travels are now memories that will forever be etched in our hearts and minds. Vince definitely knew how to put the spark into a gathering of any sort. Helena, you and Vince truly exemplified faith, support, hope and strength for all of us to witness throughout Vinnie's challenges and struggles.
