We met Tim when he and Rachel joined us at a hockey game, and what stood out more than his immense presence was how he made Rachel beam. The love they had for each other was so obvious and genuine.
We were honored to attend their wedding and reception and were deeply touched that they insisted our gift was the first one opened, and in front of the guests.
Rachel will come through this loss better for having loved him, and his love will continue to guide her. I wish we'd had more opportunities to spend time with them.
