So privileged to have spent time with Ed last week and to have watched the Indians continue down their improbable path together. It was fitting that we enjoy each other's company, with me giving him a hard time at every turn, just as I have for the past 28+ years. We walked the red clay of Nam Phong, Thailand, loved each other in Danang and forever carried each other in private memories. I regret not talkin to Ed before he went home, but I'm sure he knew we all cherished his sacrifice for our country & families forever. He was a "gazzer" , loved by us all !

Oh how uncle Ed helped shape me to be who I am today ... I never needed to go off to boot camp because that was my daily childhood rutine with him..So many memories and good times!!! Dad taught me to be passive and you taught me to be aggressive, so I had the best of both worlds!! You will be forever missed! We will always pay you homage of being a great warrior in the stories we tell to our children and grandchildren. I'm proud to call you uncle !! Rest In Peace Marine !! Semper Fi !!!
