I have just learned of Mickey's passing. I'm so sorry for the family - especially her grandchildren. A person rarely meets a woman with the integrity, strength, beauty, and love of family that Mickey had! I was blessed and better for having known her.

There are many constants in our lives that we come to rely on, such as the sun...always being there. With that comes the danger of taking it for granted. Mickey was one of those things in our life that we easily came to rely on. Like the sun, she would always show up, ready to help and brighten your day. Mildred always made me smile....She was always laughing when we talked..dont know if that is good or bad....I called her Grandma........she was a good lady...love goes out to you "Grandma" and Diane and your family Hugs

Even though I really did not know your mother very well, I have great memories of being in high school with several of you. Terri (my wife) and I have buried parents and have some understanding of the grief you are experiencing. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers. May God bless you and strengthen you as you walk through this season of life.
Mildred was a trusted and devoted person. My time spent with her and her daughter, Diane, at many Rural Carrier Conventions, was always cherished and appreciated. She was a great lady and will be missed. I will never forget her.
Many cherished memories of visiting Mickey and family at the Rt 162 home, giving my dad Bill advice on handling us rugrats and life in general....even if he didn't want to hear it. Dad loved and greatly respected her as we all did. Will miss her lots especially at fair time. Lots of Love and Blessings to her children and families, Tami and Family.
