Although we hadn't been in touch for quite a while, I have many fond memories of Marilyn at her parent's house as I was growing up. She was a wonderful person who is certainly missed by many.

I love all our times at the cottage together.
One memory that always sticks out for me is going over to grandma and grandpa's house when I was pretty little, just by myself because I think my parents were going out, and having dinner with them at the little table in their kitchen. We had some pan fried fish, and I just remember that it tasted so good! Because of that initial memory, I always thought gram was a good cook. ...until mom started telling me stories when I was older of frozen milk with bits of wax in it!
Marilyn's legacy lives on in her very loving and supportive family, now she can join her devoted husband, Richard, and be free from the physical constraints of this world. Aunt Marilyn and I had Birthdays back to back. I always enjoyed them be no matter if at the Farm, The Cottage or where ever they occurred. She always had the best wrapping paper too, you could enjoy the Funny Pages when done opening them. I will treasure all those memories.
