Bill...the drive home to NC was a tearful one.....one I never thought I'd be making. Somewhere in the West Virginia mountains a peaceful feeling came over me........I could tell it was Laura telling me to go on, that she is fine and we will meet again.....she wants us to continue to live our lives to the fullest and she will always be with us. Wanted you to know what I felt.....she wouldn't want us to be so unhappy, because she is not, nor never was. I'm only a phone call away......will stay in touch, it's my way of staying in touch with her too. Love to all of you........take care of yourself and the kids! Luv ya! Mo

Bill and family,

Words cannot express how deeply saddenned we all are. I will miss seeing Laura in the backyard with the dogs and passing down the neighborhood streets. Even though we did not spend a lot of time together, the time we had was precious. She always had kind words and advice. I know the past few years have been hard for her and everyone near to her. I know it's a cliche but we can all hope she is in a better place and out of pain. God needed another angel and found a wonderful soul in Laura. We will remember her fondly. If you need anything, we are just a holler away...

With deepest sympathy. I remember driving Mo over to Laura's house to spend weekends. Their friendship goes back many decades, and she always spoke highly of Laura. She will be missed by both family and friends. We are all saddened by the loss. Joan Desnoyers (Mo's Mom)

How can I ever forget my friend from years ago? I'll always remember spending weekends at her house as kids.....classtime in school....boyfriends, Laura dating Bill, me dating Frank. Though we were apart in distance when I moved to N.C.....the years or miles didn't matter.....meeting up at class reunions...catching up, the laughs, the hugs, her special voice on the phone.....she will always be in my heart as a best friend....Laura will stay in my heart forever. I worked with Laura at Fedex. Laura was always happy no matter what was going on at work or home.She would always have the time to listen,talk,and help,most generous soul.I was blessed to have her friendship.You will be with me always. Loved those homemade smokies you would bring to work....
