The world has lost a truly humble great man.
I enjoyed his drawings and his friendship.
He really looked like a movie icon when he dressed in his star wars outfit. He is with the force now.may he forever watch over all of us

I remember fondly the cartoon title cards John drew for the Hoolihan and Big Chuck show and told him so many years later via social media. We corresponded there and through email and I will always remember his kind and helpful comments regarding my own art. We discovered that we went to the same high school (different years) and recalled some of the teachers there. I will remember his kindness and will treasure the prints I have of his work. He will be missed. Sending my condolences to the family.
