Dearest Steve and Debbie, It has been wonderful being a part of this family for the last three years. I know we will all miss your Dad, but not like the two of you will. I loved being around him, his ways were so much like my grandfather's. - Those ways always made me smile. We will have many reminders of him in the years to come. JC. I am honored to have known you and Margaret. I am so sorry your last days were so rough. I know that Margaret and your mom were waiting at the gates with open arms. You will be missed terribly. I am so happy that we were able to visit with you and that Lisa saw you shortly before you passed. I know I am not exactly family but I love you just the same.
I miss you terribly Grandpa. I'm sorry you had to be in so much pain ! I'm happy you're not in pain anymore, but I'm most definitely not happy you are gone. I wish you could have seen me turn 15 this year. You and Grandma were the best people ever to be in my life!! I love you so so so so much !! And I'm lost without you. I'm going to try and do better in school this year just for you because I know that's what you would want me to do. I love you and miss you terribly Grandpa, I wish you could just come back. Hello Atkinson Family, I have so many memories of your parents. Your mom had a beautiful smile. I remember Debbie Stuart & I went to Columbus to see Steve compete. Our car broke down that night and we called the hotel they were staying at. Remember Steve you and your dad came to our rescue? We got the car fixed but it was so late your dad tried to get us to stay at the hotel until morning. His concern for us was so touching. Your family will always have a special place in my heart. I will keep you in my prayers.
