The lawyers at our firm will really miss Jim. He was always polite, professional, and a true gentleman. I am sure he is now in a better place making sure that things are going smoothly in heaven, just like he did at the Court.

I was very saddened to hear the news about Jim. I new Jim for approximately 13 years from my interactions with him at the Rocky River Municipal Court through the Police Department. I also saw Jim in the summertime outside of work at local antique car shows and car cruise inns. Jim was a great guy and will be missed by all. My deepest condolences are with the Valenta Family. For the Valenta family -- I cannot imagine the pain you are experiencing now. No words can express the sorrow I feel for your loss. Jim's death has saddened me & many others. He was certainly one of a kind. He often spoke of his family, especially his mom, in such a loving way. When he laughed, you couldn't help but laugh with him. Jim was gifted. I worked with Jim throughout his long career at Rocky River Municipal Court. I know he has served any penance on earth & is now enfolded in God's arms. May that give you peace in your time of deep sadness.
