I called Ethel on Saturdays for the last few months and she was an inspiration to me. She was always looking at her glass as "more than half"
filled, and always grateful for her family and friends. Her sense of humor matched my own and I can only hope and pray to be as accepting of life's curves as she was. I thank God that I was given the orroprtunity to talk with her and get to know a small bit of her. God bless her family with peace and joyful memories. Maribeth
To the family of Ethel Ritter:
I've delivered meals on wheels to Ethel every Monday Morning for several years. I took a fall about 6 weeks ago broke my wrist and haven't been able to deliver meals to her. I was going to go this week along with my sisters to sing Christmas Carols and deliver a present when I read that she passed away. My husband is a minister and about 3 months ago we had communion with Ethel and it was beautiful. I used to sit and talk with her for hours after delivering the meal. She was a pleasure to know. She was witty and cantankerous. She loved her family. So sorry to hear she's gone......Loreen
