Chuck will be missed greatly by the students and staff at Parkview School. For 18 years he devoted his time and effort to making our school a clean and comfotable place for children to learn. Chuck's special talent was his ability to talk with the students about their interests and hobbies. The students remember how Mr. Krueger would make sure they drank their milk before leaving the lunch room, or how he would ask them about the Indians or the Browns, or Cavs, or how he would just tell them to work hard and have a good day. He always had time to say something positive to a student, especially those in his "Kru Crew", kids who would help him clean the gym after lunch to get it ready for PE Class. With the staff Chuck was just as genuine and down to earth with us as he was with the kids. He took great pride in his work and it showed ---- in our classrooms, offices, hallways, but most of all, it showed in his smile and his positive attitude that he brought to Parkview School each day. I will personally miss his expertise on Cleveland sports ---- he was a font of information and opinion and I've missed those conversations greatly --- but I will treasure the time we shared together. Mrs. Krueger and Lacey, please know that Chuck was deeply loved and respected by those he worked with. He made a difference in many young lives just by showing he cared and by teaching kids about responsibility. I was saddened when I heard that Chuck lost the brave battle he fought, but he was a great player --- and that we will never forget! Please accept my sympathy for your loss, and know that all of us at Parkview have you in our thoughts and prayers.
