We were so saddened to hear of Chuck's accident. My dad, DD Hall, worked with Chuck on pools and had such a high regard for him. We had the privilege of meeting him when he put in our pool. He was the consummate professional and all around nice guy. He will be sorely missed, and we offer our condolences at this time.

On a hot afternoon in Aruba in December 1995 God truly blessed us by guiding Chuck & Dee into our lives. We fell instantly in love. Chuck, in his warm, caring and generous spirit, invited us to visit them at their ?fishin? shack?. We did so two months later and never looked back. We have been all over the world with them, from one exotic place to the next, with more laughs than anyone could ever imagine. But the real bonding came in those precious visits to Big Pine Key and later at the house in Elyria and of course, the ?love shack?. Words cannot describe the loving, honest open relationship we have shared. The wonder of the relationship between friends is that it teaches love just by sharing life. And that we did! We ache inside with the pain of this loss but Chuck will always be with us. To know him was an honor and to love and be loved by him was truly a gift. Thank you Chuck. We love you dearly.

It was shocking to hear of Uncle Bud's untimely passing. I can only imagine the sorrow of such a sudden loss. I am so sorry that I could not be with you during this time. Please except my apologies.

Words alone cannot express the sorrow and loss Mark & I feel hearing only this morning of the suddent loss of so great an individual in your lives, and your resultant sorrow and loss due to this sad tragedy. Please know our prayers are with you all at this time and going forward... having lost my own father almost 2 years ago I can tell you what a friend shared with us: that you never lose your loved one, as they always live forever in your heart. I can assure you this is so true! I feel assured that Chuck is free from all earthly cares, sorrow and pain and is at last enjoying the eternal reward he so justly deserved for the person he was while on this earth -- and you *will* all see him again! To Chucks Family: My husband, Mark, and I had the pleasure of meeting Chuck just this past Saturday (June 30th) to talk about a pool. That was the first time we met him - and - oh - what a wonderful man. I was totally shocked and deeply sadden to hear the tragic news. Our prayers are with you.
Chuck was a "giant" man, maybe not in stature, but in heart. We have not shared time with many folks who have lived their lives with such gusto. Dennis and I know he will be missed by so many, but we count ourselves truly blessed to have spent time with he and Miss Dee.
Dear Yonkings family - we are still in shock over the news of Chuck's accident. He put the desire of our hearts into a reality way way back in the early 80's. We will never forget though the visit to the Keys - about 5 years back - we savored over the afternoon sun and reminised about days gone by. Then on to a favorite place for a bite to eat. Everyone knew Chuck - Not only will he be missed, we wish we could touch those that he leaves behind.
Christine,David, & entire Family, Our hearts go out to you. We can only imagine how hard this is for you all. Although most of my family has never met him, he reminds us all of the perfect husband, father, grandfather and friend. You all are blessed he was in you life.
