Carrie Mcconnell
Dear Family: I was so sorry to hear of the death of your loved one, Blanche. Although you are no doubt in a sad state right now, you also may be full of questions. Is death the end of it all? What is my loved one doing right now? The Bible gives great comfort in this area and clears up any misconceptions we may have. Eccl. 9:5,10 states "for the living are conscience that they will die but the dead are conscience of nothing at all neither do they anymore have wages for the rememberance of them has been forgotten. All your hand finds to do do with your very power for there is no work nor devising nor knowledge in Sheol the place to which you are going." Sheol meaning the common grave of mankind so this shows that they are in an unconscience state awaiting a resurrection. To what you may ask, Psalms 37:29 "the righteous themselves will possess the earth and they will reside forever upon it" So we can be sure that we will see our loved ones again. But this will be in perfect conditions as in the original Garden of Eden. Until that time, may this bring you comfort and the comfort from you family and friends be with you. May God continue to be with you family. You are in my thought and prayers. With deepest sympathy, McConnell family
